Yuba County is asking supervisors to authorize release of RFP 2026-RFP-12 for Safety and Workplace Violence Prevention Services, according to the June 9 Board of Supervisors agenda package.

The request comes from Administrative Services and would seek proposals for assessments, consultation, employee training and incident-response planning across county facilities. The package describes the work as a countywide safety review for an estimated 950 employees and multiple public-facing sites, including the Yuba County Library, the Packard Facility at 5730 Packard Ave. and Yuba County Animal Care Services at 5245 Feather River Blvd.

The agenda material does not identify any prospective vendors, nor does it say what prompted the procurement. It also does not include final board action or any later contract award.

If approved, the RFP would formalize the county’s search for outside help on workplace violence prevention rather than leaving the work unspecified or handled internally.
