Marysville Joint Unified School District’s Aug. 11 board agenda is centered on several large contracts and policy items that could affect special education staffing, campus security and college-access programming in the 2026-27 school year.
Among the biggest items are a ratification for The Stepping Stones Group to provide speech-language pathology and occupational therapy services, listed in the agenda at an estimated $685,220, and a master services agreement with EDTheory LLC for three special education teachers at $480,909.
The board is also scheduled to consider a three-year expansion of Raptor Technologies that would add VisitorSafe across all 24 school sites and the district office, according to the agenda packet.
Another item would ratify a data-sharing and direct-admissions partnership with the California State University Chancellor’s Office, tied to the CSU Direct Admission Program and Senate Bill 640.
The same agenda also includes a second-read policy item on parent/guardian notifications. The agenda packet does not by itself show whether trustees approved, amended or pulled any of the items at the meeting, so the board’s final action would need to be confirmed in minutes or a post-meeting packet.
